Both focus on the behaviour of animals we\u2019ve domesticated, and one of the programmes is predominantly aimed at children. To me, this is a small step forward in terms of ensuring species appropriate care is learned by the next generation before they take responsibility of an animal. <br>Cats are an extremely good example in terms of how important education is to care well for a feline family member. For example, for many years humans only attributed a purring cat to them conveying contentment. A number of years later, it was discovered that while purring can absolutely indicate that particular emotion in a cat, it\u2019s also something that can be done when a cat needs to give comfort to themselves. I\u2019m hoping to watch the programmes soon to see how informative and easy to follow they are.
