How different countries attribute their own superstitions to them,  how mythology perceives them and how lore surrounding them  is radically diverse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Black cats have inspired some of the most famous stories (The Black Cat by Edgar Allan Poe, being an example that  springs to mind immediately) and multiple art pieces.
