I find it fascinating how they\u2019re mostly still viewed in a societal sense as cold and aloof.  In my experience, that\u2019s absolutely not the case. They can be guarded, cautious, wary about who they give affection to. But definitely not uncaring. <br>This news article illustrates that perfectly. <br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/articles\/cvgl40ylxv5o.amp\">https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/articles\/cvgl40ylxv5o.amp<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Marley provides emotional support for women when they most need it. Cats have in the past, shown remarkable levels of what seems to be empathy when I have exhibited distress too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Like people, they often respond and react to surroundings and instinctual signals. So at least a part of their behaviour is likely to be related to experiences that they\u2019ve had.
