The second post this month is highlighting something that’s been mentioned a few times in previous blogs, but this recent article gives an interesting insight into how humans and their feline counterpoints bond chemically. The connection is likened – as it has been previously – to a parent/child connection.

It’s notable that the fact cats accept interaction specifically on their own terms is mentioned, as it so frequently is. To quote William S Borroughs, “The cat does not offer services. The cat offers itself. Of course he wants care and shelter. You don’t buy love for nothing.”
