Blessed Yule…

Most people are aware that Yule and Christmas are around the same time of year. For anyone who doesn’t know the origin of Yule, it’s the pagan celebration marking the shortest day of the year. Obviously, Stonehenge is of huge significance to Pagans, and many of them travel there to mark the occasion. This year, there was one particular traveller who appears to have gone viral on social media. While I’m fairly sure most cats would be well out of their comfort zone in this situation, after doing some research into Moon it seems her life – and her own personal health issues – contribute to why she seemed so unphased in this environment.

“Moon’s owners explained that she’s been living the van life with them since she was born. The fearless feline has epilepsy and an underdeveloped brain hemisphere, which means she has no fight-or-flight response. She’s literally scared of nothing and just loves life.”

There was an estimated 8,500 people present at the gathering and as is often the case, the only feline present was the star of the show. The general consensus is that Moons appearance at the proceedings is a positive sign for the new year. On that note, wishing everyone a wonderful rest of the festive season and good things for 2026.
