We Slip Through Streets…

The second blog illustrating how cats inspire people features a cat called Murtaugh. Murtaugh was a stray, until he was taken in by producer, Swann Martin-Raget. Murtaugh is the basis for the main character in the 2022 computer game, Stray.

It’s interesting to know that to ensure the movements were accurate for the game, motion trackers were fitted on (consenting) real life cats. You can see a clip of this in action here:

While I love that attention to detail, I’m guessing there are interactions between multiple feline characters, and I’d be interested to know how much investigation went into the natural behaviours displayed in each scenario.
